Just want to share some things with all of you =)

This week when i was praying, God really reminded me of the reason of why i became a cell group leader.

My parents officially divorced when i was 13 in 2001, and i really went through a very rough patch at that time. But it was also at that time where i found God, and my life has never been the same again. I think i might go be a gang leader if not for the fact that i found Jesus =) Thank God for that!

Anyway, i was praying, and God reminded me of the times when i struggled and He helped me, of the times when i wanted to give up and He strengthened me. And i know that God wanted me to help other the same way He has helped me.

All of us have been blessed by God in one way or another since we came to know Him. But remember what we always learn? We are blessed to be a blessings to others! Let's really share the blessings that God has given to us to the people around us. And let's continue to share with them the unconditional love that God has for each and every single one of them.

We reach out to our friends and invite them to church not because we want to have many many people in the cg, but because, all our friends and family members need God in their lives, and we are here as a cell group to help them know God and to help them grow in God.

Hi guys, if those who have missed what I shared for yesterday's prayer meeting.
Here is what I have shared.

What is prayer?
1.Prayer is not self-centred
We should not just keep praying for our own breakthru'
But we should follow Jesus footsteps.
As after He resurrected into heaven, His ministry for eternity was
to intercede for others.
Which lead us to the 2nd point.
2. Prayer is for ministering to others.
How?
When we pray for others, we are serving them by praying for their needs.

Habakkuk 2:3
It says when God gives us a vision, it is for an appointed time.
Appointed time means God's timing.
And the sentence says It will not tarry in the verse speaks about the
Vision will HAPPEN!
But we have to wait for God.
Cause if God were to answer all our prayers every time we asked of Him,
immediately, the world will collide.
Cause people may pray for the stocks to go up and some to go down at the same time.
And if God were to answer all this at the same time.
Surely the stock markets will go hay-wire.

And in between the time when God gave us the vision and the vision to come to pass.
God is training us to be persistent and patient.
So let's us wait upon the Lord, stay broken unto Him and flow with Jesus.

Hi e18!
I really want to thank you guys for praying for my grandfather
and I really thank God for working in him.
My grandfather accepted the Lord last Sunday after service
when my family visited him.
Thank you guys so much.
Let's really keep Cecilia in prayer ya?
She went to the doctor twice and had to go to hospital.
So please pray ya!
Not only for her, but all the members and the leaders of the church.
We are in the season of harvesting.

Dearest E18!!!

it's been a long time since i sit myself down to blog.

i've been so busy with school recently, especially now that my exams are drawing so close, and my datelines are all pressing in.

sometimes i really feel quite bad because i have not been able to give you guys bible study as much as i want to, i'm not able to spend much time with each and every single one of you, i'm not able to meet all your needs, i'm not able to be there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. but one thing i know is that, no matter how busy i am with my school and stuff, i'm never too busy for you guys.

i really just want to say that i really love you guys, and i am so proud of each and everyone of you!

This morning I was SO encouraged by Cecilia's sms.

She said that God IS raising up a new generation of YOUNG people.

despite all challenges,

What is IMPORTANT is that no matter how terrible we feel or

Hello Everyone!!

I've added Junle and Weiji into our CG blog as well.

Although for some reason, they may not be able to come for CG and Service every single week, or as regularly as they want to, but i still believe that they are a part of our CG as well. So pls keep them in prayer as well. ok?

As such, we have 20 members in our CG already.

We now have about 1.5 months before the end of October, and we have 10 more members to go before we have 30!

Let's continue to fast and pray and trust God for our breakthrough ya?

Cyril Toh: I put in the surname cos I felt like it. He can sing, he got looks, he treats people well, he got money, he can play guitar, he knows kung fu.. Its a miracle how come he got no stead by now.. Nice person overall. At first look, hes a little sissy. But after awhile, we all know that hes just more 'gentle' than a normal male.. LOL. Kind person. Good listening ear.

Charmaine Theng Yong Lin: I put in the full name cos I felt like it as well. The crazy noisy girl in the cellgroup.. and I thought I was noisy.. until I encountered someone more fearsome.. She's scary, Cos she just attacks people in a hysterical fit of embarassment from time to time. Cannot understand what shes thinking... JiaYous! May you find an asylum suitable for you soon!! =DD nah.. jkjk.. Good luck for your Streaming as well!! Kick some ass!

Jordan: The guy that clicks fairly well with me. If he didnt tell me he was Sec 3, I would have thought he was a Sec 4... ahwells, ren also not bad. Got alot of stuff to chat with him about. Always during prayer meetings go his house de... which is so far away from mine lor can? But nevermind! Its still fun to hang out with him! We still havent decided who is "taiti wang" yet leh brother...

WeiJi: People in e18 call him WeiKiat... which I donno why, sounds to me like 'wicked'. Which he is far from.. hes too 'pure-minded' to be wicked le la.. My hao hiadi. ShuWen and me both agree hes not very constant in his attendance... god pray for him to be able to manage his time and not stray from the path of christ. WeiJi! HUAT AH!

Nicholas "kensou" Low: Whoa.. i just gave that guy an alias... fairly 'english' guy. Heard he can play table tennis and tennis, both sports which I suck deeply at. Nicholas is cool la. Live so far away from us but then every week come and join us.. Deeply admire that kind of 'willingness'. If Cecilia's house was at serangoon.. I die liao lo..

Joshua: Some quite little guy. He looks like someone I know but I just cant seem to remember who. Heard from Cyril hes not that quiet. Hopefully I'll realise that soon. I dont even know how he SOUNDS like now.. fairly passive. But is friendly when you talk to him. I should hang out with him a little more bah..

Josiah: Hard to understand what hes thinking. I dont really understand him that well cept that he probably lives in a world of his own. But he seems to open up when I talk to him about pokemon.. haha.. sidenote: people in my school now is crazy about pokemon too! haiyoyo...

Jonathan: Some army Navy guy. First time see him like abit dunwan talk to him cos he looks anti-social. Note I said look. Hes superduper fun to be with also la.. like a big brother to us in the cellgroup? He points out what's right and what's wrong. And you just cant argue with facts somestimes right? One of the person I respect the most in the cellgroup is also him. =DD

Naoto and YanQing: I'm so so so so so so so so sorry for the presents. I'm such a sucky birthday I/C. Personally I have no grudge against you two. You guys dont know me and I dont know you guys. I hope to someday have a good conversation with you guys? And get to fellowship a lil?

Marilyn: She's indeed the next crazy woman after Charmaine. Just more 'beastly'. A very unique monkey. Loves strawberries instead of bananas. Shes really friendly though. Good friend to have! Sometime she entertains me when no one else wants to. When I sick that time shes the only one that made time for me even though she got some Home Ec project lor.. She sometimes calls me childish.. graahh... a younger person calling me childish...

Sofia: Child-like faith... LOL!!! Cannot deny that la.. Shes the one that inspired Cecilia to bring the cg to have more people ba? Cant remember the target. She's a good person. Helped me do my blog and do small favours for me from time to time. She dosent look good with her fringe clipped up, and she loves ice-cream? Bottomline: ren hen hao. =D

Celeste Lee Si Lei:I donno if I spelt that correctly. The first impression I had of her was her doing some rubrics cube for me after my second service at church. Loved disiaoing her. Now shes gone. I need to find new people to disturb. Mwahahahaa... Is also a good person. Always seen wearing black. Can sing well. =D

Cedric: Brother of Cyril. Fairly different from his brother though. Sec 1 this year. Can parkour a little and also learnt a little of kung fu. He jumps at services as well! We need more 'jumpers' like him in the cellgroup man. Comeon people.. You guys look so dead when you just clap..

Xueming: new kid at the block. Loves to play counter-strike.. next time if got chance after service I go lan with you la.. after exams more shiok ah. I CS with you all day okay? But must jio me la.. a fairly fun person to hang out with as well. Pray he continues being on fire for god!! =DD

Hello Everyone!

Let's really keep Celeste and her family in prayer ok?

Also keep Nicholas and Cyril in your prayers as well. They'll be having their N level prelims very very soon.

Remember that i told you guys that we all need to have a vision and a goal for our lives? And the Bible says that without a vision, we will live our lives carelessly.

I'm almost certain that most of us want to be use by God to do great things, all the more we cannot afford to live life carelessly, and therefore we really need to have a vision for our lives.

I really hope that all of you will seriously take time to pray and to ask God for the vision that He has given to you.

I have a vision too! A vision for E18, a vision for my life!

I have a vision to see 30 members in E18 by the end of October 08.

I have a vision to be leading 50 members before the end of the year.

This shall be our cell group vision, and i do not think that it's impossible.

Let's not be intimidated by the big vision, but to enlarge our faith to trust God for it. ya?

Let's continue to pray, to fast, to prayer walk the schools we want to reach out to, to go the extra mile with the love of God, and i believe that a revival will be spark off from within each and every one of you!

Hello everyone!

I hope all of you had a great cell group meeting this week.

i'm here to revived our cell group blog again, and i've invited some of you to be authors of this blog. i guess that would be easier for everyone of us who already have a gmail account.

somehow the pictures above dont turn out very nice, but i'll try to do something about it.

guess what guys, i'm really very excited for next week, because we will be starting our very first pure PRCS cell group meeting on thursday. those from PRCS, do invite all your friends, and fill the whole house on our very first meeting itself.

as for the rest who're still having cell group meeting on sat, let's continue to reach out to our friends as well, and we'll fill my house once again ok?

let's continue to fast and pray for a greater breakthrough in our lives and in our cg!

i'll be fasting from wednesday to friday. you guys can join me too!

not forgetting, let's keep all the PRCS people in prayer. they're having their common test from 14 july onwards. and also, remember to pray for cyril and nicholas because they'll be having their N level prelims in the month of August.

Hi everyone!

for the month of march, as a cell group, we really want to be very focus on reaching out to our friends.

this week pastor phil pringle is coming to preach for us, and next week will be easter already!

let's stand together in prayer and fasting for the breakthrough in our cell group this month ya?

here's a few things that we want to focus our prayer on:

1. Youth Olympix!
it will be held on 12/03/08 at sentosa.
-pray for a good weather.
-pray for many friends to join us.
-pray that those friends who agreed to come will turn up.
-pray that their hearts will be open towards us.
-pray that they will join us for service this weekend.

2. Pastor Phil Pringle Service
-pray that at least 4 friends will join us for service this week.
-pray for tangible presence of God during the praise and worship.
-pray that many friends will respond to the altar call.

3. Easter Service
-pray that at least 60 friends will come for our easter service.
-pray that we can have 20 friends from pasir ris crest secondary.
-pray that the friends who agree to come will turn up.
-pray for the many of the friends will respond to the altar call.
-pray that many of the friends will be touched by God and they will be integrated into the cell group.
-pray for every single friends that we pledged as a cell group. ( i will upload the list. those who have not given me the list, pls sms me)

4. E18
-pray that every member will experience God for themselves.
-pray that every member will experience personal revival in their lives.
-pray that more members will commit themselves to spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, bible study, thanksgiving, serving).
-pray that more members will be willing to serve in the cell group and in the church.
-pray that connect groups will be effective in evangelism, and connect groups will grow in strength and numbers.

let's not limit God.

let's stand together and believe God for a even greater breakthrough for our cell group!

hello e18,

i just want to say, let's really come excited for cell group meeting this saturday. we're going to have a very very special cell group meeting. and what i am going to do? i'm not going to reveal it to you all. so make sure you turn up for you own cell group meeting and i believe you're going to have a great time.

and also, not forgetting our SUPERHERO outreach this sunday.

remember what we learn during service on sunday? as a cell group, let's THINK about all our friends joining us for service and the outreach; have the desire to see your friends being part of the cg, loving God and loving people. let's BELIEVE from the bottom of our heart that our friends will come for the outreach and enjoy themselves. let's DREAM/VISUALISE our friends coming for service and the outreach, see in your heart the amount of fun everyone is going to have. finally, let's SPEAK with conviction the faith that our friends will indeed come to know God.

i'm really believing God for a BIG harvest by the end of this year. will you believe it together with me?
